About the event
Moroccan writer and physician Intissar Haddiya presents « L’écran des illusions », a novel about the emotional vulnerabilities of a digital age. The story follows a respected woman doctor whose life is unsettled by a virtual relationship. Through a narrative about apparent intimacy and manipulation on screens, the book examines loneliness, misleading online identities, personal resilience and the social expectations facing independent women. A nephrologist and professor of medicine in Oujda with a doctorate in social responsibility, Haddiya draws on professional and human experience in her literary writing.
