About this event
The Marrakech English Book Festival returns from 15 to 17 January 2027 for its third edition, bringing together Moroccan and international authors, publishers, readers, students and literary professionals. The programme spans author interviews, readings, panels, workshops, discussions and book signings, making the festival one of Morocco’s most distinctive events dedicated to English-language literature.
The first two days take place at Riad El Bacha in the Marrakech Medina, while Sunday 17 January is hosted by the Dar Bellarj Foundation, which also welcomes part of the children’s programme. The 2027 edition celebrates the 20th anniversary of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction and includes the Marrakech English Book Award ceremony.
