About the event
The Institut français de Tétouan hosts the 11th Night of Ideas, part of the international 'Opening the Way' programme. Its public debate asks how trust in journalism can be rebuilt in the social-media era. The discussion examines the difference between verified facts and impressions, algorithmic feeds, artificial intelligence, fake news, media regulation and the protection of freedom of expression. Developing critical media literacy, especially among younger audiences, is another central theme.
