About the event
Agnès Jaoui’s film « L’Objet du délit » takes place behind the scenes of an ambitious production of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. An accusation of sexual assault upends rehearsals and forces the company to confront its own beliefs, alliances and generational divisions. The comedy-drama examines the difficulty of collective dialogue and the relationship between power, art and social change. Starring Agnès Jaoui, Daniel Auteuil and Eye Haïdara, it was selected out of competition at Cannes 2026.
