About this event
The On Marche International Contemporary Dance Festival celebrates its twentieth edition in Marrakech from January 28 to February 7, 2027. Initiated by Moroccan choreographer Taoufiq Izeddiou, the festival occupies a distinctive place in the cultural landscape: dance is treated not only as performance but as a way to question the body’s place in public space, social norms and the relationship between art and society.\n\nThe announced programme combines performances, workshops, artist encounters and cultural exchanges involving dancers and companies from different countries. Across its history, On Marche has worked in theatres, heritage sites, training spaces and open areas of Marrakech in order to broaden its relationship with audiences. This anniversary edition is expected to continue that research into movement, choreographic experimentation and transmission, while creating space for a new generation of artists. Venues, companies and schedules will be added when the full programme is released.
