About this event
The libraries of the Instituto Cervantes centres in Tangier and Tetouan invite readers to discuss ‘El invierno de los jilgueros’ with its author, Mohamed El Morabet. Winner of the Málaga Novel Prize, the book connects family memory, changing identities and journeys across the Mediterranean through characters associated with Al Hoceima, Tetouan and Spain. The event offers an opportunity to hear the novelist discuss the making of his work and the way fiction captures social transformations and personal relationships.
