About this event
The Instituto Cervantes in Tangier organises its ‘Pequeños lectores’ programme for children aged 4 to 9. Led by Gabriela Carreño at the Juan Goytisolo Library, it combines storytelling, illustrated books, listening, discussion and complementary activities. The programme encourages reading for pleasure, curiosity, language awareness and a love of stories from an early age. Sessions take place at 99 Avenue Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah. Admission is free for library members, subject to capacity.
**This week's story: Five More Minutes** — Marta Altés’s illustrated book contrasts a busy parent's sense of time with a child's delight in playful moments. Five more minutes can be filled with puddle-jumping, watching birds and imagination. The tale invites families to rethink time spent together.
